Spirt Avert AG announces its third quarter order intake and sales

During the third quarter 2006 the net order intake amounted to CHF 0.7 million (2005: CHF 7.1 million whereof CHF 3.3 million from continued operations) and sales to CHF 2.2 million (2005: CHF 2.9 million whereof CHF 0.9 million from continued operations).

Cumulative YTD, the net order intake for the first nine months amounted to CHF 3.4 million (2005: CHF 11.1 million whereof CHF 4.2 million from continued operations) and sales to CHF 5.7 million (2005: CHF 16.1 million whereof CHF 1.5 million from continued operations). The order backlog at the end of September was CHF 0.8 million (end of September 2005: CHF 7.1 million whereof CHF 3.3 million from continued operations).

Change on the Board of Directors of Spirt Avert AG

Dr. Thomas Staeheli has expressed his wish to resign from the Board of Directors as per the end of October 2006. During an intense period in the history of the former Nextrom Group (change of ownership, restructuring, etc.) Dr. Staeheli joined the Board of Directors and also acted as interim Chief Financial Officer. The Board wishes to thank Dr. Staeheli for his valuable support during the reorganisation of the company. Dr. Staeheli will remain Spirt Avert’s Legal Counsel.
