Spirt Avert AG presents a demonstration model of the automobile under development at mindset in St. Niklausen (Lucerne, Switzerland)

Since January 2008, Spirt Avert AG has had the first concept model of the new mindset car displayed in a glass showcase at the company’s headquarters in St. Niklausen near Lucerne. At the same time, a series of tests has been run using a prototype equipped with a production-ready energy storage device.

Representatives of the international media, as well as an invited expert audience, have already had a chance to assess the model’s exterior and interior, and to formulate a first impression of the driving experience.

The project has received a great deal of public attention and enthusiasm to date – a fact that Murat Günak, CEO of mindset ag, sees as an affirmation of mindset’s entrepreneurial vision of developing and marketing a contemporary, sustainable automobile for everyday use.

Nevertheless, the company are sticking to their decision not to participate in the 78th Geneva Motor Show. Says Günak: “In the face of high expectations regarding new mobility concepts, we are deliberately distancing ourselves from the trend of presenting not-for-sale future visions to the public�?.

Lorenzo R. Schmid, chairman of the supervisory board of Spirt Avert AG (which is the sole owner of mindset ag), has confirmed the target date for the market launch as the second half of 2009. This means that mindset’s automobile could premiere at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
