Precious Woods Europe business develops well in the second quarter

Precious Woods Europe achieved significantly higher sales in the second quarter of 2007 compared to the same period of the prior year on the back of increasing prices and corresponding solid margins - this in spite of lower quantities shipped due to the supply situation in the countries of origin. Demand from the markets served continues to be strong - challenges persist in the procurement of sawn wood. The definitive half year result will be published in August.
